La Gazelle d’Or

This restaurant is also known as the “village africain” or African village, and it is certainly true that upon entering the restaurant, we see a village of huts typical of the style in the Horn of Africa. There are also dozens of objects including sculptures, CDs and jewelry - in fact, the restaurant is like a tiny museum, thanks to which diners can begin their discovery of the culture and customs of this region. Traditional dishes and recipes have been slightly adapted to suit European tastes, but diners are invited to eat their “injera” with their hands for the full cultural experience, whilst drinking mead or Ethiopian beer.
